Sustainability and Practice
LIFECYCLE, LOVE & CARE
Lifecycle, Circular, Responsible and Sustainable Design practices are woven into our work and relationship with materials and objects, traditions and skills, place and people.
Here at High Tea with Mrs Woo, we're dedicated to crafting well-fitting, comfortable, distinctive clothing designs with a timeless character using high quality, natural fibre fabrics. As you enjoy your clothes, they will age, wear and tear.Launder and look after your clothes so that they're in good condition to pass on when they don't fit you anymore - join our Lifecycle Marketplace Facebook group for buying and selling pre-loved Mrs Woo garments. When your clothes break, mend them with gold thread - we show you how by our Kintsugi for Clothing techniques and workshops. Our garments are made with natural fabrics such as linen, cotton, hemp and wool with OEKO-TEX certification so that they are biodegradable at the end of their useful lives. When that time comes, you can send them to a textile recycling service - we have a partnership with Upparel UpCircle, or check with us about their compostability. As part of our deep commitment to sustainable production and circular design practices, we are also undertaking research and development to divert textile waste from landfill - see our Zero Waste Garments from Zero Waste Yarn project.UPDATE: June 2026 | NEW Zero-Waste Knitwear & Upcycled Yarn collection launched!
