Use the guide below on taking your body measurements, then look at the GENERAL SIZING + STYLE SIZING guides to help you choose the size of High Tea with Mrs Woo garment that's easy, comfortable and suits you best!

Here are some tips on taking basic measurements of your body -

  • Use a cloth tape measure, not a metal ruler.
  • Make sure the tape measure is level, not too tight or loose.
  • Stick your thumb between the tape measure and your body to prevent yourself from drawing it too tight.
  • Measure yourself on bare skin or very light / thin clothing that is worn close to your body.
  • Try to measure yourself in front of a mirror.
  • Be sure to write the measurements down as you go!

Bust

Wrap the tape measure right around your back, under your arms, around the fullest part of your bust to measure the circumference of your chest.

Natural Waist

Measure the circumference of your waist (when you bend to the side, where your body creases is your natural waistline).

Hips

Wrap the tape measure right around your buttocks and hips, making sure the tape is wrapping over the largest part of your buttocks.

NOTE ON PANTS

  • Our full-length pants are generally 100cm in length with a deep hem of approx 5cm so there is plenty of length to extend.
  • Pants and Jumpsuits with signature adjustable cuffs (ie. Lazy Susan and Double Agent pants, Dark City jumpsuit) are designed to fold shorter to approx 92cm.

 

STYLE SIZING | LOOSE-FIT

Our LOOSE-FIT style garments are designed to be loose but shapely on the body - not fitted, not firm.

If you are the smaller side of the size range, the garment will feel loose and roomy. If you measure on the larger side of the range then the garment will be more fitted, especially around the bust and hips parts of the garment.

Our SHAPE-FIT style garments are designed to be shaped and fitted to the body - means not loose but not tight, follows body contours with darts and curves.

If you measure on the smaller side of the size range, the garment will be a comfortable fit. If you measure on the larger side of the range then the garment will be a tight fit.
