The Field Work pants is a loose-fit style, crafted by zero-waste design. Made with a Japanese cotton *seersucker fabric with a unique textured surface and lightly voluminous quality for shape, breathability and comfort.

MATERIALS NOTE

Seersucker fabric is made by alternating tight and loose warp yarns on a special loom where some threads bunch together, giving the fabric a wrinkled or puckered appearance. This puckering effect creates a lightness the skin as it traps insulative pockets of air near the body to keep you cooler.

DESIGN NOTE

*Zero waste design is about ensuring the end life of products and systems are devised at the beginning of the process. The focus is on waste prevention, moving towards a circular economy where resources are reused and recycled.

This FIELD WORK pants is cut from a piece of Japanese cotton seersucker fabric without producing any waste parts. It includes strips of fabric within the leg of the pants that can be removed and used for any repairs required to extend the life of this garment as it is loved and worn over time.
