Gloves - Fingerless MID-LENGTH | Angora Lambswool
These mid-length cuff fingerless gloves are knitted by Penelope Durston from her Melbourne studio. Made from angora wool (40%) and lambswool (60%) yarn that has been specially spun in New Zealand. The yarn is spun in the natural cream colour of the fibre and once knitted she hand-dyes these pieces in small batches.
Warm but light, they are designed for beauty, comfort and long-lasting wear.
Lycra yarn is knitted through these gloves for stretch and return, and they fit a wide range of hand sizes, and for long lasting wear. The cuff is stabilised with an elastic yarn.
Adult fingerless gloves will fit a wide range of hand sizes, they will feel firm to start with but will relax with wear.
NOTE
Please be aware that as with most pieces with a fluffy pile this will gradually wear away or pill with use. This is a natural characteristic of both lambswool and angora fibres. Don’t view this as a fault but as a metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life!
