ABOUT KINTSUGI FOR CLOTHING
Borrowing from the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold alloy, High Tea with Mrs Woo show you how to practice kintsugi for clothing as a way to cherish and extend the life of your loved garments by visible mending with gold threads.
High Tea with Mrs Woo's Kintsugi for Clothing workshops are not aimed at teaching a perfect craft. It explores kintsugi as an applied, philosophical practice to inspire a better, slower approach to life. It provides a space for you to explore the values and expressions of new and old clothing, and what it means to care for them.
